My Bad........

I just went to my blog...to check out the blogs I visit from my blog list and realized I haven't been real faithful this month! OOPS... there's been a lot going on, to say the least!
I've tried to keep my personal health struggles out of this blog...but I at a point now that I need to share. I found out last week that I will be having surgery one month from today. As many of you know I struggle with chronic daily headaches/migraines. After the surgery I will get relief from my HAs and be able to go on with my life and the things I love to do the most!!! So enough of that.....
Well....my Lysie girl let Friday with the softball team for Florida....I think she's getting home sick!! I know she's overwhelmed with the lack of assistance by the teachers to have their work to them in a timely fashion.
I returned from a wonderful weekend at the Beacon with Scrappin Soul Sisters. I created some kick butt pages..........but I can't show you cause Lysie has my camera in Florida....so I can't take pictures of them...........got to use some AMAZING PRIMA product that I ordered from http://www.badgirlskits.com/ I bought the March Kit........well worth it!!!
So till my camera returns.....................

Temporary Set Back!!

THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN LAST YEAR.......
Yesterday was a delight!! Sunny and warm....snow melting like crazy.....really beautiful....a tease of Spring. Then this morning....SNOW and snowing like crazy...a temporary set back...it'll be gone in a heart beat as soon as we get alittle warmth going!! WHOO HOO...ready to move onto my gardens!!! Get those catalogs out to choose my new plants for new gardening season.

Just thought I would share with you some of the first flowers of the season that are in my garden. The beautiful pink flowers...Painted Daisies were a house warming gift from my mother in law. The tulips are just plain beautiful!!! They speak for themselves. I collect Delphiniums...and Flocks...I want to have one of every color in my gardens. Every spring the gardens get bigger and bigger...I have to divide up the plants and start another garden....my goal mostly garden...little grass....my husbands not too impressed but grass is so....needy! The gardens just grow and are totally BEAUTIFUL!! Pretty much maintenance free!!!

Come on Down.....SPRING!!!

So...I came across some old pictures of me and decided to scrap them. I used my fav....Wassil paper....I know it's Christmas paper but it worked so wonderfully with the B&W photos and you would never know it's Christmas paper! I had tons of fun creating the collage... fussy cutting... metal flowers ...grungeboard.... ribbon... metal... vintage lace and fleurs!!!

The pictures are of my first Birthday....when life was simple...no cares...just cake!!

Copic Certified Designer

Well it's official....I am a Copic Certified Designer. Debbie and I travelled to Topsfield, MA to an amazing LSS....Absolutely Everything...and they are what their name says!!! So much to look at and so little time!!

Now I must confess, coloring in images is not my favorite thing...but my horizons has been broadened and I now that I have a greater understanding of the Copic Markers...I am becoming a fan!!!

I now know the inks and papers to use, how to blend and shadow...and that I need more Sketch Markers to use them properly! Our order of the next 36 colors should be in soon so I will be able to expand my color selection.

So, I did play this morning with the limited markers I have and created this little ditty. I used BG13, BG18 and the coolest Glitter Pen...a Lemon Spica! Amazing pen!!

I will be having a class at Generations of Memories in the near future. I am looking forward to showing you how to use your Copic Markers to the fullest!! See you there!

Thank you Sally Lynn Macdonald for the great job and for pushing me out of my box!!
