the Glimmer of it all!!

So....I have spent the last two days.... creating.... using ONE bottle of Copper Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.

I purchased it...seems like eons ago. I've carried it around in my tote for just about that long.... I decided to bring it out, dust if off.... BUT.... what can a person create with just ONE bottle?

Well.... let me tell you.... a card, a layout and a sampler frame.... THAT'S WHAT ONE CAN CREATE.... and I have a few sprays left.....

I had absolutely NO IDEA how amazing the products from Tattered Angels ARE!!! All the colors, the chip tiles, the screens.......OH THE CREATIVITY OF IT ALL!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

So....here is the card....

I used my border punch...Treading Water by Fiskars...and punched the edge of the card.

I then, punched another piece of paper. I placed it on the Tortilla Bazzill, starting right to left and sprayed the Copper Glimmer Mist. I moved the Treading Water "stencil" to the left and sprayed again....repeating the process several times.

I then laid a piece of lace to the left of the layered sprays and spritzed again.

I then sprayed my craft mat with the Copper Glimmer mist. I dabbed the white lace into the spray. Getting a mix of white and copper. I dried the lace and basted it to create the ruffle. I adhered another piece of lace on top.

I punched a flower out of handmade paper, spritzed with the Glimmer mist....squinched it in my hand....dried the flower.

I sprayed a piece of Maya Road chipboard to achieve a base color....then I spritzed my Craft Mat with some more Glimmer mist...ran my fingers through it to create puddles goodness.... then dabbed the chipboard into the puddles to create blobs of color on the chipboard!

I used my new Hero Arts stamp - Special Moments..... LUV that saying.... then put it all together. Added a vintage button, a flower I had crocheted and a bow tied from twine.

the oohhlaliciousness of it all!!!

FingerPainting....

OK....so for this month at the Arts Gallery....the theme is "Outside the Box"! Only my favorite saying! We are to create something outside of your juried style.

Sooooo......I created this fingerpainting piece for the show. It was so much fun. I had paint everywhere. Sometimes it's good to create something different. To look at things differently....try different mediums.....create something totally OUTSIDE THE BOX!

Lately I have found all my layouts were looking the same....so I created this layout using stamps, rubons and inchies.....not the norm for me.....and WOW!!! The paper I used is from Upsy Daisy Designs...an awesome paper company out of Canada...way to go! The paper collection is called "Unwritten"! Great stuff!!

So I encourage you to try something different....go through your drawers of "STUFF" and create something "OUTSIDE THE BOX!"
